Play the slurred notes with the "dashes" on one bow with a gentle articulation of each note. Do not stop the bow, just release some pressure to make a delineation between the notes.To play crescendo move your bow closer to the bridge. Measure 13: Keep your 3rd finger close to the 4th finger. Make sure that your 4th finger is strong enough and both notes are well articulated. To make the open E sound not overly bright take off some weight from the bow and bring it back for the next notes.Make sure that your slurs are very sustained and you do not stop moving your bow when putting your fingers down. Practice that by pressing your fingers on one string, while bowing on another. Make the right hand as continuous as possible.Do not lose the sound quality at the tip. Practice that on two first measures. Partition the bow into four equal part and make pulses on each of them. Keep your bow close to the bridge.
