Rosin will last you a good long time, unless....you're like me and consistently drop it on a hardwood floor.... >:-/ Get a good grip on that rosin before you rosin the bow ! <;-)

Hi Beth! I just joined from Brazil and I just can't stop watching your videos! Congratulations on your amazing job!! Well, while watching this video one doubt came to my mind. The lower part of the hair of my bow (near the frog) is a little bit greasy and it looks dirty. How can I clean it? Should I use alcohol or just water? Could you give some general instructions on how to clean the violin and the bow? Thanks a lot!!

I just joined today, a complete beginner and am very enthused about learning the violin. Right now I am a little frustrated as I cannot get any sound from the violn. Should the bow be tightened? Do I use rosin? Do I use certain pressure with the bow? Please help!
