I've shared this vid on my facebook page a while back and I keep finding myself going back to it just to listen. It's just a simple "Happy" tune (Lover's Waltz). I love this fella's version, and he plays it so well...I just wanted to share it here, maybe spur someone on to greater efforts as I always am when I find a particular melody I like, played well by a competent musician. Enjoy !

Interestingly I just met Jay and Molly a few weeks ago. Very nice folks and they played this among many of their tunes.

You may want to check out their web site at:

This is a great place to pick up their sheet music.

Enjoy!

Hey Ann, I too just did the same for this music. I also picked up the album (mp3) and his instructional book "A Fiddler's Guide to Waltzes, Airs and Haunting Melodies." Any experience with this?

I love this song & the video, I picked up the sheet music for this that Ungar, the composer, published. Very nice, with 2 fiddle parts & piano. Also picked up Ashokan Farewell, Ungar's piece that Ken Burns featured in his Civil War series.
