Hi Beth, Is the line drawn by the tape across the fingerboard accurate for all notes on each of the other strings? That is, the third finger on the E string is A open, so should the third finger on the A string on the exact line across on the tape be the D open? Or is there some variation? The reason I ask is that I did not place the tapes as per your video, but instead used an electronic tuner. What I found was that although my first finger on the tape on the E string for F# was now perfect, the first finger on the tape for B, E and A on the appropriate string were not spot on. In fact, some were off over of an inch. Is this normal or is this due to having a cheap electronic instrument? Will I find this variation with all instruments?
