Hi Beth, at what metronome speed is 'real vibrato achieved'??? I mean, if I do one 'ping' (I remember you calling the throw motion 'the ping' then rebound happens) per beat of the metronome, at what speed would the metronome need to be to achieve a good vibrato? 280bpm? (I have a digital and manual metronome, the digital will go up to 800!!!) I know that at the end of the day then the piece we play 'dictates' a slower or faster vibrato, but what would be an 'average ok speed'?? thank you :)
