My question is a techincal issue with the videos. Most of the videos appear to just stop. Mid sentance. Mid word.

Is this normal? The lesson appears to be almost finished, but its like there is 10-20 seconds missing.

thanks

Thanks Jack, for the techno input. Now that I think about it, I had experienced the problem with Firefox. I'm currently running Safari on OS Lion as well, and haven't noticed anything.  Viddler answered my email and wanted to know what browser, including the version no. and operating system you are using, and which video or videos?

They are great about investigating problems, so as much information as you can give me will be a huge help.

Hi Kirsty!

I believe that Sean also has a post on this issue, but since I am here I thought I'd chime in on your thread.

I use a Mac (OS Lion) and my main browser is Safari and I have not yet experienced the issue of early video termination as you and others have reported.  I'd suggest experimenting with different browsers and see if that would resolve some of the issues. With so many browsers and video players in the market I'm sure there is one that might work flawlessly (at least for some things).  I'm happy with Safari and in the few instances where a website recommends Firefox or other browsers I simply switch to it or whenever possible I use a PC (at work) in those rare occasions.

Good luck!

Hi Kristy, I have no idea why the videos do this. I experience the same thing. It's not from my end. It must be something with the player I use, which is one designed to play on mobile devices as well. I've emailed Viddler about this, and am wiring for a response. However, there is a temporary work around. When it stops, click on the timeline at the location of the glitch, and it will play to the end. I'll post when I hear something. Thank you for your feedback. It's always helpful to know what's going on from the user end.
