Thankyou for your beautiful words during such a difficult time.  You are so right to live your life fully.  Do what you want and savour the simple pleasures of life, nature, music and each other.   My heart goes to you and your family.

That is neat you were able to play violin at his funeral. It is so hard to lose a parent. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying you have peace through this hard time

Thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers. It means so much that people here who hardly know me would do such a thing. Thank you!

I've been dwelling on death for the last weeks.I can only take so much of that. Death is about goodbyes....a new chapter somewhere else. Life is about living. The two don't mix very well.

Just came back from southern GA. where the funeral was held. My second flight there in three weeks. He was existing on machines. That really isn't living. He was 81. I felt a sense of relief that this chapter has closed for him and I feel he is now at rest in a place I can't fathom. It was an honor to play and sing at his funeral. He would want me to live and make the best of the time I have left. None of us knows how much time we have, so let's go on living our best, learn to play the violin. Do whatever it is you feel called to do.Do your best.Do what counts. Savor the victories, use the losses for lessons, enjoy the journey!!

Though a bit late, I express you my condolences, with Barbara's words:

May music be an inspiration to you and heal your wounds.

Dear Tim

May music be an inspiration to you and heal your wounds.

We all will go this way one day and I live in the hope to see my loved ones again when I die.

My prayers are with you. God bless
