Hello and thank you all!
And yes, I'm trying to get something across and to not just play what's technically on my score.
I'm going to continue this piece with my teacher and I'm curious what he's going to change...
Thank you for your fine comments and thank you again Beth for offering us such gems!!!

Beautiful, Frieda! I'm impressed with your intonation in 3rd position! You seem very settled and at ease in that position. I'm so glad you love this piece. I want to rerecord it just to play it again and again.

This was wonderful Fieda! I hope to one day play this cleanly. It is truly a beautiful piece which you have conveyed well.

Beautiful!  I think you are inspiring many of us to play with the soul that you do.  Thank you for sharing

I think I can actually tell from your playing that you really connect with this piece! Nice tone and wow the PHRASING! You don't seem to be just reciting it, but really PLAYING it!

Wow -- beautiful job, Frieda. Particularly some of your high notes with their vibrato, just exquisite. I have started working on this too. Am finding the shifts quite challenging (never mind the fourth-finger vibrato in high positions!) This piece is really teaching me a lot about bowing and dynamics, anyway. And it's sooooo gorgeous... Again, nice work.
