Hi family!
Question - doing a quick review of introductory tutorials to shifting, it is evident learning second position is more challenging than learning third (for reasons stated in tutorials). Should I start with third position?
Thanks in advance! :0)

I really, really like the frist exercise in the Geringas book and still do that at the beginning of my shifting exercises - or even during practicing repertoire when I have a day where I have a hard time to feel the right distances. I find it gives me a feel for the different positions and some of the distances from first to fifth position.

Yes, 3rd is the most logical. There are some very recent videos that will give yo more info about that. #648-649

Yes Jaime - 3rd position is the way to go!!

After that you can either go for 5th or tackle 2nd and 4th position.

But you should spend a lot of time on 3rd position first.

Congratualtions to a new milestone taken.
