This is very nice. I agree with Barbara about the phrasing. Coming along very nicely!!

Barb, I noticed this before but since we were talking @ the left hand I didn't focus on it. Try using your right hand fingers more when you approach the frog- it looks as if the whole hand and forearm bring the bow to the instrument at the frog. One thing you could try would be playing each note of your piece using a collé movement. Then go back to playing it normally and see what happens.

Thank for posting the original as a guide. The first Gaga song I ever heard. You are educating me!!!

I take it you are playing this by ear and playing it by heart. Well done to figuring out all those notes and playing them mostly in a phrase as Ray already said. Nice fluency.

Keep at it and make it into one big phrase and it will sound beautiful.

Hi Barb,

You obviously have already practiced this piece a lot.  It shows.  It sounds like you have worked on individual phrases.  Perhaps the next stage is to Breton to look at two separate phrases as a unit?  Just a thought.  Looking forward to your next video.
