I'm not sure why the Irish music workshop I attended had this song in the file since it's  a Scandinavian tune. I really like the tune though and decided to make a backing track to play along with. The song is in F . I noticed that it isn't commonly played in F online. It's a tougher tune to play in that key for me. Maybe they put it in F as a learning tool. I added piano, harp and cello to the backing track which I'll make available here as only the backing track minus my violin should anyone want to give it a try-

I can get the .pdf if you want it.
Things I noticed. The intonation issues are not as apparent when playing solo. Glaring in places when played with the track. My bow still wanders occasionally.
I'm still trying to get the feel for up/down bows and bow speed in relation to the length of a note.
Any other suggestions please feel free to comment.

Well done Timothy,  thoroughly enjoyed listening and I second the comment Barb made about blending you sound with others.  You make a good ensemble player.  Again, well done you.

Listened again. I meant to add it has flow. I mean by that it sounds like one song-I have a challenge with understanding flow or rather doing it. I spend a lot of time critiquing each note to perfection and then I get a bunch of notes instead of a song sometimes. Maybe I shouldn’t compare my weakness and strengths with others but only way I can think of to critique. Nice flow as one song. Nicely done

I like how you play with the music. You don't drown it out or it doesn't play over you. You play well with others.  Nice melody

Keeping the bow closer to the bridge like you said would add even better tone, maybe tip bow slightly, bow pressure first notes, very nicely done
