Here's the piano version I used to do aural practice and learn to harmonize...The pianist said he improvised here [perhaps the intro portion and the last portion wherein the key changed and was using combination minor 6th ascending and descending which I need to know with your help...

What is minor 6th descending/ minor 6th ascending and how you apply it on music or musical pieces?

Can someone please explain it to me?

Thank you

Thank you and yes, I would like to explore on those and yes, I wish someone would kindly explain to me...

Perhaps I was asking too much? [Ah, it reminded me of my elementary days when my teachers heavily scolding me for asking inquisitive questions... I guess it's their indirect way of evading things they themselves cannot explain]. I wish Aristotle or someone can patiently explain...

Thank you again...

Thank you  very much for the sample picture, I now understand it- seeing it on a manuscript...Just by reading alone and sample in the text does not make it stick to my head.

Seeing it on the actual piece I'm trying to or about to learn makes more sense to me...How I wish there's a portion here at VL that explains about the piece- to dissect it completely almost like A&Physiology studies.

E.g. explaining like - "In this measure M6 ascending and descending was implemented/used and the rationale etc. etc. etc.

I know it may sound too much, it was just a wish on my part hungry to learn more about the piece I'm planning to learn.

I explain intervals and everything in the Note reading course.

It seems that your question deals with MODULATION, a topic of Harmony theory, rather thant with intervals.
I have just rudimentary notions about this theme, so I can't help you.

Hi Maria
The minor 6th descending is the interval between the first two notes in the theme. The next two notes are the same, so it is also a minor 6th interval, only ascending.
Hope this makes sense.
