Day 15 of actual practice/100...

Still sick but I dragged myself to practice to start build back a bit of stamina so I don't get dizzy or short of breath when I stand up.

Violin practice is the perfect way to do it and we all know that music is a universal healer and comforter of...

Timothy, it's the same with me I post pieces that I am working on and hopefully it'll improve. Not a performance lol! I'm not an A level student and  can't even play straight.

Many times when I post I refrain/stop myself to  answer right away even if I wanted to because I don't want to dominate the community wall and let my post go down at the bottom until it get obscured and stay/get on the second page. So if I don't reply right away is because of this reason and let me have this opportunity to thank you for your reply on my AVE MARIA SERIES. Appreciate it much and thank you.

Thanks much Barb, I'm all better since  this post was from October last year when I was sick and still stubborn to practice.

I definitely forgotten the fingering sequence of this composition of mine  but I would definitely add this to the AVE MARIA SERIES I am working right now...

Until now I have not practiced for weeks??? Been busy at work, our unit is like ICU residents are unstable due to old age and chronic health problems. Every now and then I call for medical emergencies [RRT/C.B.]. I am now an expert of  express filling out forms and shipping residents down to our ER Dept or directly to ICU.

Fabiano, I hope you are filling[ I was watching a pie recipe prior to this LOL, my mind is still on it!] the right word is "feeling" better now...

Coughing maybe  due from many reasons it's best to see a doctor medical/pulmonologist/allergist/cardiologist /even gastroenterologist[sometimes it's GERD or combination]. Yes, please see your doctor soon...Take care of your health.

Maria, when you've mentioned being 'short of breath', you have caught my curiosity, for I have chronical breahting difficulties, and frequent cough. Besides, I've the impression that you work in healthcare field. My problems have not yet a solid medical diagnosis.

I look forward to your answer. Thanks, Fabiano.

I've almost forgotten this VIOLIN version I've composed of Ave Maria de Caccini variation

Thank you much Ray...

Very impressed with your commitment to continue practicing on days where you are obviously not feeling well.  Wishing a speedy recovery.

Day 36/100 Violin composition -"Maria"

Forgot the fingering pattern here...A few more regular practice will solve this, perhaps tomorrow I'll try again.

Good morning Kathleen,

Thank you for listening and I am glad that you liked this violin  piece that I composed.

The piano was a piece of its own composed by Caccini, but the entire violin part I've composed and incidentally it fits or goes well with Caccini's piano composition.

A musical match I would say...Thank you again.

Dear Maria

This is a beautiful piece well performed by you with lots of luscious vibrato.

Your vibrato has come a long way and you regularly play these soothing pieces that require wide slow vibrato and you got really good at it.

I wish you better for your sickness and a prayer goes out to Jesus in your favour.

Here’s a glimpse of my violin composition on official musical manuscript transcribed  for me by kind and generous friend.

I had it transcribed for posterity and who knows in the far future one of of my great, great, great, great grandchildren will find it beautiful enough to play and enjoy as  much as I have...

The title is “Maria”
