Developing Good Rhythm and Sight-Reading Skills
Sight reading is much more than just identifying the notes on a staff. In fact, that's the easy part that will come with time and practice...just as we learned to read words and sentences when we were young. The often-overlooked and under estimated aspect of learning to sight read is developing an internal rhythm...a precise and consistent beat that emanates from withing us that ultimately is more true than the metronome. If you would like further rhythmic and sight reading training, please check out our note reading/music theory course.
