Snakes on a Plane - Violin style

I've had to think long and hard before posting this as it contains a phrase that some may find less than appropriate.  But since the phrase has entered our pop-cultural lexicon, I thought "let's give it a try - I can always delete it later if need be".  Those with a liberal sense of humor, read on...

xD  very good :)   "Violins on a plane II" by Steven Spielberg ;)
Last year, we renovated the sleeping room, at the same time I had very much to do at work and some other things came together... so one day when I took a walk with my dogs, I wanted them to sit down before we crossed the street and I said: STRESS! And they both sat down xD

Yes, our babies repeat everything we say at the most inopportune moments.  no matter if they are 2 yrs old or 32.  i had a good chuckle, thanks.

Flashback to 2006.  "Snakes on a Plane" was being hyped as the one summer blockbuster movie to see.  I was wondering what the fuss was about. My son told me "We gotta go, it'll be worth it just to see Samuel L. Jackson in this one scene even if the movie's no good." Well, we went and I've gotta agree, the movie was't great but Samuel L.'s scene has become legendary!

Flashforward to February 25, 2012.  My daughter and boyfriend are over for the weekend.  We're flipping throught the channels and I notice that "The Red Violin" is coming up. Violin on the brain, I say: "Hey, We haven't seen this in a long time, we gotta watch it!".

So, The movie starts up. We're all watching. The title rolls up: "The Red Violin".  And then: "starring Samuel L. Jackson"! I had completely forgotten that Samuel L. was in The Red Violin.  Suddenly and uncontrollably, I flashed back to Summer/'06 and something blurted out of my mouth before my brain could stop it.

A few days later, I'm on Twitter and checking my daughter's latest tweets and am horrified to read:
"We gotta get these mo****f*****g violins off this mo****f*****g plane!" - Dad's reaction seeing Samuel L Jackson's name on The Red Violin.

It's a strange new world out there.

Have a great week-end, everyone!
