Hi Beth, so say I was to use a "straight how simulator", made out of cardboard (wrapping paper cylinders), would it be bad for my bow in any sense? Precisely the hairs? If so, how can I make one without this happening?

Thanks, Sean.

Sean, I don't think it would hurt the hair. I used my own bow when I did the demo and the only thing bad that happened was that the rosin was pretty well wiped off the bow. But here's an idea that is popping into my head. Get some plastic food wrap and wrap it around the bow to protect the bow. It might work..?
