Hello everyone. Since I haven't post a video in awhile, I decided to post one of a recital that I and other music teachers had on the 3rd of this month. Our 2018 Summer rectal. I decided to play one song with two of my students that we all heard before from Beth. We did Prelude by Dmitri Shostakovich. All I can say is that we weren't bad. Keep in mind we had only one day for only one hour practice session together. We did have a lot of fun together and I will work to continue to improve.
By the way, you may want to fast forward the video to about 1:10, since the time before is spent on setting up 😁.

Thank you all for your comments. It makes me so happy to hear your wonderful words to this piece we played. I'm coming up on my third anniversary of playing the violin next month, so I have to pick something out to play and post for that special occasion. Beth, maybe you have an idea that you think I should play. I would welcome any suggestion.  Thank you all again.

I liked how relaxed you were and that you looked like you were having fun! And a great sound, too.

What a lovely atmospheric interpretation Sylvia.  It is so good to see what others are doing, and I enjoyed your playing of this piece very much.
