Hello all,
here is  the Sonata XIV "Himmelfahrt Mariae" of Biber in scordatura, very challenging but so beautiful... It's my project for this year... this is only a small part of it!
I wish you all a fantastic holiday with a lot of music... of course :-)

Thank you all for listening and kind words!
And Christiane, I had the same feeling when I received the sheetmusic of this beautiful music from my teacher... never heard of scordatura!

Hello Frieda,
That's so beautiful, and I learnt so much.  Had to do quite a bit of google-ing to understand what everything meant.
Thanks for posting this and opening a new world to me!

Hi Frieda, always so good to hear you play. Thank you for posting this video of your work on this. It does sound beautiful with the scordatura tuning!

Hey Sonia, thanks... I will soon post the next part... still working on phrasing.
Janice, my teacher marked A=435, but for now all I did was using another tuning, like you can see on my sheetmusic (AEAD). Itís a bit complicated and confusing in the beginning with the combination sharps/naturals but you get used to it 😀!

`Hello Frieda,
you have a lovely ringing tone there.  You say it is scordatura which is interesting; so the strings are tuned differently to standard A= 440 ?
