After nine months of violin learning, i finally learnt my most comfortable finger placement position for my thumb, so now my little pinkie is long enough to play! Thank you Beth!

If she has discovered that the thumb is just there for support because of strong fingers than the counter weight of the thumb is either hard or else light for slightly above harmonic finger pressure to pure counter pressure supporting fast and hard pressed notes.

Super! I'd love to see what you discovered.
