Iím thinking Step 9 of Bethís video pertains to me- lazy fingers. But I think I need to touch more tip nail than pad of finger? Sometimes fast and crisp do not seem to always go together for me. Maybe more so when I learn the song better and itís somewhat better as to both crisp and fast but a struggle.  Suggestions? Thanks

I don't know if it is of any help to you, but as I worked on these issues I found this video to be very helpful in terms of thinking about what our fingers are trying to accomplish.

Hi Barb, Interesting piece! I enjoyed listening to this very much.

I find that the 1st two pages of Schradieck can help build strength. I also find Wohlfahrt OP 45 #18 superb for this as well, and there is a video here on that one. #18 seems harder because it seems to have more advanced bow distribution on string crossings.

Thank You Barb. I love Bethís bowing advice. Very helpful. I was amazed how bowing attributes to sound. Now to work on my finger tapping left hand

Dear Barb

I have no suggestions to offer. Just a brief remark. I find this piece you played quite musical. It was a pleasure to listen to. Well done.
