Hi all,
I would like to share with you my progress on Bach's Sarabande. I really enjoy playing this piece and every time I'm working on it, I explore different things. It is also very interesting to listen to different performances.
My goals : everything :-) ... intonation, expression, working on double stops.... I'm not giving up but keep practicing.
Thanks for listening and any feedback is welcome!

Ha Urban, indeed... it's very challenging. But I see it as a project... and I really enjoy 'the journey' 😊.

Hi Frieda,

Thanks for sharing. That was so good! You are already well on your way to a fabulous performance. I'd love to play it a little tomorrow and give you some more ideas.

Hi MsPolkadotz,
Big thank you for your comment. It means a lot to me because I know that you have already tackelled this piece, so you know the difficulties! You played it so well that you were a true inspiration for me to go on with this.
And yes, itís very challenging but also very satisfying when suddenly a chord starts sounding good or even better. Playing a piece from beginning to end whithout stops is already a goal and itís not easyÖ
Thanks,
Frieda

Hi Frieda,
Beautiful playing!😍 I love this piece so much.
I noticed how we have  similar difficulty with this piece as I listened to your reording and that itís very challenging to engage two strings simultaneously. I think itís just a matter of getting used to the bow angles for these chords. Youíre doing so well with this and itís so lovely to hear your interpretation of this piece. Thanks for sharing🙂
