Dear Violinlab teacher and colleagues,

I just finished the Beginner´s Level 2 Syllabus after one more semester. It was very fun.

Following is a shot of myself, after one year practicing. I am looking forward for level 3 lessons for more improvement, please let me know if I am ready for it :-). Thanks for watching it, criticisms are very welcome.

Thank you so much for taking your time to prepare such clear and insightful video response.

All the points you highlighted are noted and I am working on them as of yesterday. I am paying attention on my bow arm for the A string and I saw an immediate huge improvement, not only in the tone, but it also helps me to avoid hitting other strings.

Regarding intonation, I am aware of that issue and I have been working on scale exercise with a tuner. I can get pretty much in tune during the scale practice, but I loose efficiency when playing a piece. Today I purchased the Intonia app for my smartphone which I intent to incorporate to my practice routine.

Thanks again, I promise you I will keep working hard.

I am so happy you like it Beth, that means a lot to me. Looking forward to your video response.

Diane, Dianne, Hélène, Jaime, thanks a lot for watching it and for your nice words. I will keep practicing hard.

Sorry for the mute. I live in an apartment and it was kinda late at night. Next time I post a video I will remember to play it without a mute.

Beautiful Shaker Tune….: >)
Wonderful playing. Congrats on a job well done.  Only wish the mute was off  the bridge so we could hear the beautiful tone of your violin.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful Shaker  tune.
Stay tuned. Diane in SoCal

Bravo, Claudio! I'm so impressed and proud of your wonderful work! It gives me such encouragement to see how well an online curriculum like this can work! I will make you a feedback video very soon. I'll be living town for the weekend, but will make it next week.
