Hi Lily, I have a good harmonic shifting exercise that I will make a video on. But essentially start in first position on any note (I usually have students use 3rd finger), release and soar straight up, swinging the elbow to the right and go for the highest E harmonic. (It's about a third of an inch from the edge of the fingerboard.) I'll make the video next week. I've been meaning to show you guys this exercise. It's one of my favorites. |
