Shoulder rests: I got the Kun super and it doesn't lift the violin high enough so I need to return it. Does anyone know if the Bon Musica or any other rests are able to adjust higher? ..or have a recommendation for me? If I slide my hand in between the shoulder rest and my body (flat against my skin) - that is the amount of additional height I seem to need. about 3/4 to an inch more. Also, I ordered an over the tailpiece chin rest to see if that was more comfortable but it doesn't fit over my tailpiece. Not high enough. You can also get a "foot" for the KUN shoulderrest with an extra long screw. They are commercially available in a music store. |

Ahhh! I see on a forum that the Wolf Forte Primo is helpful to long neck people. I guess I'll give that one a try. It's more in my budget anywaz! |
