HI! Brand new here :) Beginner. Are there any exercises/stretches to do with the body before and/or after playing to take care of the body as we are still learning to stay relaxed as we play? Stretches for shoulder, wrists, fingers, neck etc... that are regular practices that some violinist use to keep the body healthy and loose? Thanx!

I found the book "Conquering Carpal Tunnel Syndrome And Other Repetitive Strain Injuries" very helpful. Lots of exercises with illustrations. It focusses on an awareness while streching the muscles. To feel the "streching point", wait for a release, and then strech further...
