This discussion includes members-only video content You now that feeling when you find a forgotten $20 bill in your jacket pocket? Well, I feel like I just pulled out a $100 bill! I forgot I had recorded a bunch of scale duets last year. Here's a Chromatic scale for this week's Practice Challenge! . I recommend playing it with both parts to get used to starting it. The accompaniment enters on the 2nd half note of the 1st measure and then is tied over to the 2nd measure. It's a little confusing. I look forward to this challenge. Seems can help with rhythm and with tone. I find when I think I have great tone that the chromatic scale definitely tells me otherwise, the true test. |
