Thank you all for your responses, especially to Beth for making the video. Actually I was going to post a question about my left hand issue. I notice my left wrist is bent, when I try to place my left hand correctly, I feel like my finger span is very limited (Beth is right on point about that). I'm trying to correct it, but at this point I can't play while looking in the mirror, so it keeps falling back to the wrong position... I will definitely make this a priority from now on. |

Dear Xing I am with Janice that your left wrist is pronated. And you are not using your left elbow to move between strings. Watch Eddy Chen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbge9yDTc9Y On the plus side there is nice straight bowing. Good rhythm and fast speed. |
